I actually haven't been on in a while for a couple of reasons! Computer virus was the main cause. I have some sad news though but time is a very weird thing in my life one bad thing made another bad thing better go figure!

Well it starts with these dreams I was having about a rat dieing. The second time I had the dream I text a friend who owns(well is GF) a rat named Loki (and in my dream the rat was always dark and looked like little Loki) and asked if he was doing ok! I was told yeah he was fine, I calmed down and didn't think anything of it! It was always a rat though and sometimes it was an old rat just letting go of its little body some times it was a cat that had ended it and sometimes a snake. It was a lot of weird dreams about nothing but all of them for a while contained a rat dieing even if it was the smallest part of the dream it was there. Weird yes but I always have weird dreams.

I guess the dreams were a warning because last week I had to lay to rest my baby Karma. I know exactly what happened because I found what she had chewed on in her cage and sense she was a bully the other rat didn't get to eat some of it as well. ( I guess thats a good thing)
I have a tank that had 4 newts and five under water frogs. The frogs and two of the newts were fat as could be but the other two newts I noticed never went and ate and were really getting skinny. So I put them into a smaller tank so they could eat and get better.
That thank sat on top and beside the rat cage. When I saw Karma I though she was just sleeping cause five minutes earlier she was running around. Yes it happened that fast! Not even a full five minutes cause I walked out of the room to grab something for the newt tank and was back under five minutes and looked in the newt tank and saw one missing. I didn't even think about it going into the rat cage I thought it was on the floor. I did notice Karma 'Sleeping' and no name rat was begging for food (like always).
I finished setting up the little tank and looking on the floor for the little guy. No name finally realized I had no more food and went back down to the bottom were Karma was. I was looking on the floor on my hands and knees at thins time and I heard a little squeak and Karma was a bit ruff on the other rat I was actually thinking of taking her back so she wouldn't be bullied. So I sat up to see what it was about Karma hadn't moved and thats when I freaked. I knew something was wrong now.
I picked up her little warm body. At first 1+1 wasn't working I hadn't a clue what happened! After ten minutes of trying to revive my baby I took her down stairs and body bagged her. I went back up stairs and now the other rat was out too. (long story on rats I had three of them)I looked at them and wondered what the hell happened. Just then Sug the no names daughter picked something black up and I saw the orange and it hit me. I ran over and got it out.
Nether of them were hurt from this little newt and Karma only ate a bit of the head. Newt was dead and well actually the other newt still refused to eat and died as well. the other two and frogs are still so very fat. But I lost my little girl and so even though I liked no name I was already planning on taking sugar back to the store and with out karma i couldn't really look at the other two. So last Monday I took them back to the store.
2nd bad thing. Tuesday I was getting ready to clean the cage and send the food to a friend well Loki's mommy for Loki. And had it all packed up trash can in hand. And something told me to look out the window. and there my cat had some thing; I though baby bunny. I ran down stares but he was already not at the front. i knew what ever it was, was a live I saw it moving. I ran to the back thinking he would bring it home! And something told me to walk the opposite way he normally comes home and the he was playing with his little captive pray.
At first he didn't realize it was me and I saw him glaring. I said something and he picked up his little rodent and took off I thought he was making a run for it but no he brought it to me and I though it was dead but he dropped the little Chipmunk right on my bear feet. (lovely) I Knew I had to chance the bite cause it i didn't pick it up fast enough he would start to play with it. He already took skin off the tail. I got luck and scuffed it first try and took it to the house. mad sure he had food so he wouldn't go after another poor little creature. -_-
I placed it in the rat cage and had my doubts. but almost a week and I think I'll be able to release her soon. she likes the food though. ^_^
